- Cannot enter dual-antenna heading mode.
- A. Check the dual-antenna heading settings
- B. The F9P firmware must be version 1.13 or later, and the flight controller must run firmware AP4.0 or later
- C. The two modules draw a relatively large current, so flight controllers other than CUAV's may not be able to supply enough power to the F9P.
- D. Heading data is only available when the moving base station (usually GPS2) reaches RTK FIX. In RTK Float or 3D fix the heading is not available, so make sure the positioning module is in a good positioning environment.
- Does C-RTK 9Ps need two rovers to provide heading?
- Yes, two sky-end units are required for heading.
- What do I need if I want both RTK positioning and heading?
- Two C-RTK 9Ps rovers plus a C-RTK 9Ps base station (or another base station).
- Does dual-antenna heading require a fixed mounting position?
- No. It can be mounted flexibly, and the offset value can be adjusted according to the actual installation afterwards.
- C-RTK 9Ps needs two units for heading and costs much more than C-RTK2 HP. What advantages does C-RTK 9Ps have?
- When two C-RTK 9Ps units are used for heading, both GNSS receivers can position, which provides dual-GNSS safety redundancy.
- Two C-RTK 9Ps units are especially suitable for marine applications (such as high-precision vessel take-off and landing). A fixed base station cannot be deployed in these moving scenarios; with single-point positioning, the two C-RTK 9Ps units can fuse positioning data to achieve higher accuracy than C-RTK2 HP in single-point positioning.
